Data Center Architect- 6 month initial engagement- Remote

Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Center Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in implementing VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN) datacenters and possess in-depth knowledge of NDFC (Network Design and Fabric Controller) and ACI (Application Centric Infrastructure) Multi-site solutions. This role requires a strong background in Data Center Network Design, including both High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD). The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and executing complex design projects, ensuring robust and scalable data center solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement VXLAN datacenter solutions, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and security.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive HLD and LLD documentation for data center network designs.
  • Lead the architecture and design efforts for NDFC and ACI Multi-site deployments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into effective data center network designs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of existing data center environments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  • Ensure alignment of data center designs with industry best practices and organizational standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the design and implementation phases.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in data center networking and incorporate relevant advancements into design strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing VXLAN datacenter solutions.
  • Strong expertise in NDFC and ACI Multi-site architectures.
  • Extensive knowledge of Data Center Network Design principles, including HLD and LLD.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex design projects and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Cisco CCNP Data Center, CCIE Data Center) are highly desirable.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with automation and orchestration tools in data center environments.
  • Familiarity with software-defined networking (SDN) and network function virtualization (NFV) concepts.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in data center network design.
