Compensation: Up to $137,000 annually, DOE

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Systems Protection and Controls Engineer to join our clients Engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our power system protection schemes and control systems to ensure the reliability and stability of our electrical network. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in protection and controls engineering.
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, protection principles, and control technologies.
- Proficiency in protection relay programming, testing, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with industry standards, such as IEEE, NERC, and IEC.
