Position: Audit ManagerPosition Type: Direct Hire
Compensation: $95,000-120,000
Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Job Summary:
Are you passionate about public accounting and looking to be part of a premier team? In this Audit Manger role you will be responsible for reviewing external financial statements for clients with a special focus in nonprofits and government entities.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure client projects are completed in a timely manner with few review comments
- Oversee and supervise all audit workpapers
- Assessing risk management
- Ensure the audit reports are accurate and ready for Partner signature
- Train, support and guide team members
- Ensure all budgets and deadlines for client projects are met
- Manage projects and team members
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Required
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in public accounting
- Firm understanding of all audit standards, audit engagement procedures and GAAP
- Strong organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tax Software experience is required
- CCH Axcess experience is a plus
