Job Description

Archon Resources is seeking a dedicated Desktop Support Tech to join our team. This position will provide desk side support and technical assistance for end users, ensuring smooth operation of hardware, software, and telecommunications systems. This role will pay $16-$18 per hour. 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Desktop Support & Maintenance:
    Provide daily support and maintenance for desktop hardware, software, and telecommunication systems. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to computers, operating systems, applications, and telecommunication equipment.

  • End User Support:
    Assist end users with logging into workstations and applications. Ensure users have reliable access to telecommunications systems and respond to any related issues promptly.

  • Helpdesk Case Management:
    Utilize helpdesk software to log, track, and resolve end-user technical issues. Ensure cases are handled efficiently, prioritized appropriately, and fully documented.

  • Mail Management:
    Manage end user mail-related tasks, including password changes, account lockouts, and maintenance of distribution lists to ensure the smooth operation of email systems.

  • Customer Satisfaction:
    Provide excellent customer service by addressing user issues promptly and professionally. Communicate effectively with end users to ensure timely problem resolution and maintain satisfaction.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of desktop hardware, operating systems, software, and telecommunications.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills for resolving hardware and software issues.
  • Familiarity with helpdesk software for case management and tracking.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
  • Ability to manage multiple support cases simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
