Position: Staff Accountant 

Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma

Salary/Pay Rate: $62,000

Type: Direct Hire (On-Site) 

Archon Resources is currently looking for a Staff Accountant to join one of our best clients located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a DIRECT HIRE  position with full benefits including medical, vision, dental, PTO, & 401k.  
 

Summary:

We are seeking a Staff Accountant with expertise in all aspects of accounting to play a key role in financial reporting and analysis. This position involves preparing financial statements, tracking assets and liabilities, managing tax obligations, and ensuring accuracy in financial activities. Experience with NetSuite is essential for success in this role.

This position is 100% onsite in Tulsa, OK and requires hands-on involvement in general accounting tasks and financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize NetSuite experience to train others on NetSuite. 
• Assist in the preparation and review of monthly balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Perform monthly reconciliations, including bank accounts, assets, and liabilities, identifying and addressing discrepancies.
• Create and post journal entries to maintain accurate financial records.
• Review vendor invoices for proper coding and compliance with capitalization policies.
• Provide support to the accounting team and assist in various financial processes as needed.
• Handle ad hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE 2+ years of experience using NetSuite.
• 3+ years of experience in general accounting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks is a plus.
• Must be available to commute to the Tulsa, OK office Monday – Friday.
