Pay Rate: $28-$35 an hour 

We are seeking a detail-oriented, tech-savvy Accountant with hands-on experience using BlackLine, particularly the Reconciliations module and Match AI tool for bank reconciliations. This role is critical to enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of our financial close process. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving, and has a deep understanding of automated reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review account reconciliations within BlackLine, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.

• Leverage BlackLine’s Match AI tool to streamline bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately.

• Investigate and resolve reconciling items, escalating issues as needed.

• Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Accounts Payable, Treasury, etc.) to ensure completeness and accuracy of transactions.

• Continuously seek opportunities to optimize and automate reconciliation workflows using BlackLine functionality.

• Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices for using BlackLine tools.

• Assist with audits by providing reconciliations and supporting documentation as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2+ years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on reconciliations and bank transactions.

• Hands-on experience with BlackLine software is required—specifically the Reconciliations module and Match AI tool.

• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA or CPA candidate is a plus.

• Experience in a multi-entity or global organization.

• Prior experience supporting finance transformation initiatives or accounting automation projects.
