Bachelor's or better in Electrical Engineering or other related field.
PMP or PE is a bonus - not required.

We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer with deep experience in medium and low voltage systems to join our Power Distribution team. The ideal candidate will lead the engineering and design of power distribution systems, ensuring timely, cost-effective delivery of high-quality solutions to external stakeholders. This role requires strong technical proficiency, extensive project management experience, and the ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
· Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering, sales, production, and field service teams.
· Review technical specifications, support budget development and project scheduling.
· Develop, review, and approve general arrangement and electrical drawing packages; release bill of materials (BOM).
· Perform heat load analysis and energy compliance assessments using COMcheck, EnergyPro, or similar tools to ensure adherence to state-specific energy codes.
· Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal engineering teams and external clients.
· Develop and maintain technical guidelines and specifications to ensure product compliance with current codes, standards, and best practices.
· Support design efforts for both general-purpose and hazardous locations, including classifications such as Class I, Division 2 (Groups B, C, D).
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum of 10 years of experience designing and engineering medium- and low- voltage packaged equipment systems, E-Houses, Power Distribution Centers, or industrial building solutions.
· Demonstrated success managing complex engineering projects from concept through completion.
· Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software, with a strong grasp of technical drawing and design standards.
· Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera.
· In-depth knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and industry standards, including NEC, NREMA, IEEE.
· PMP or PE certification is preferred, but not required.
